Demokrit
Demokrit is the LiveAct Project of DJ Mandari, Kiel/Germany. His musical background started at an age of 10 years at the Musical Education School. He played different Instruments to learn as much as possible about song writing, creating sequences and how to arrange and componize. After school he decided to keep on doing in music and expired the world of sounds as a DJ. Mandari was born. At first he played different styles, from progressive and deep house tunes to hard and fast detroid techno. on their way to the Loveparade/Berlinin 1999, his girlfriend decided to take him to the Vaikuntha Festival and since that time he´s infected on Psychedelic Trance Partys. After some years of education with different music productuion software like Fruityloops and Reason he knew that this wasn´t enough to create that sound dizzlin in his mind. So he started to create and arrange his sounds with Cubase and Reason (thx god for Rewire). A faster G4 Powerbook and some Hardware was hardly needed. Demokrit would like to thank his family, his love and friends and all the party people for their support.

I'm 21years old, living in northern germany near hamburg. I started playing around with fruity loops in spring 2003. During the next months I started a morning project together with a friend, Genetic Mind. In summer 2004 we moved from fruity to logic. The next year we produced a lot and djed at several parties in northern germany. In the late summer of 2005, after our return from freedom festival, I was so impressed from seroxats & shifts live there that I had to start a night project, Hazak. Around the same time my friend splitted up from our Genetic Mind project cause he got more into rock, blues stuff. I continued it alone then. Winter 2005/6 I started a third project, The User, where I'm doing my first steps in ambient/ chill-out stuff. Since beginning of 2006 I'm doing a break from parties and playing to concentrate more on my production & relationship. Everything else shows the future...
The User
The User was born during the cold and lazy days of winter 05/06 while I was sick and didnt feel like producing dance stuff...
It's my 3rd project together with the Hazak one (melodic night-stuff) and Genetic Mind (morning/day fullon), so I dont get much time to work on it sadly! In fact I just had time to do 7 tracks yet cause I'm mainly concentrating on the Hazak project the last months...
I uploaded some older and some newer tracks, so u can see the evolution of this project! Turtle Trance was the 2nd track of it, so from the very beginning. Dream State is from the middle, 4th or 5th I think...but both from last autumn.
Rainbow and Peed 'na Krad are the 2 latest tracks (both not fully finished yet) and both created in april/may 07.
but anyway, I think I'll concentrate also a bit more on this side-project in the near-by future...lets see what it brings
